* Doctors have now advised an urgent knee replacement surgery, warning that if the infection continues to spread, it could reach his kidneys and cause serious kidney damage.
* The estimated cost of the surgery and treatment is around ₹5 lakh , an amount the family is currently unable to arrange after already spending heavily on his treatment.
* Azad's younger son was the only earning member of the family. He worked as hospital staff and earned only around ₹10,000 per month.
