- 13 year old Asba Sayyed is highly brilliant in her studies. She aspires to hold a prestigious, high-ranking position when she grows up. However, due to severe financial hardships at home, she cannot even afford to pay her school fees.
- Her father works as a driver in a company with a monthly salary of ₹16,000/-. There are a total of 7 family members in the household.
- The house rent is ₹5,000/-. After paying the rent, electricity bill, and other household expenses, her mother is not left with enough money to pay for the college fees.
- Due to financial difficulties, School fee and other educational expenses has become a serious challenge for the family.
- Her mother is worried because she herself is uneducated, meaning she cannot get a job to pay her fees. Her brother is also a college student, and their parents are unable to afford his fees either.
- The family's poverty is such that sometimes it even becomes difficult to afford basic household groceries.
- The annual school fee is ₹29,500/-. Due to poverty her mother is unable to gather the amount. Therefore, she is seeking financial assistance for the balance fee of ₹25,000/-.
